In 2003, the Biles family had officially adopted Simone and her younger sister Adria. Ron's sister Shanon's aunt Harriet adopted the oldest two children. Biles, through her adoptive mother, has Belizean citizenship and considers Belize as her second home. Biles as well as her family members are Catholic.
